Fresh Graduate / Junior Mechanical Engineer

Job Purpose:
To design, analyze, and improve mechanical systems and components, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical equipment.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facility systems.
  • Review mechanical shop drawings, submittals, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure proper installation and operation.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate with electrical and civil teams for integrated project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and as-built documentation.
  • Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for mechanical failures.
  • Assist project managers in planning, cost control, and progress tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 0-3 years experience in facilities O&M, construction, or renovation projects.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, firefighting, and plumbing.
  • Experience with US Government or compliance-driven projects is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical documentation.
  • Good command of English (written & spoken).
  • Strong teamwork and site coordination skills.
