Key Responsibilities

Assist in sourcing freight and identifying available carriers through company systems and load boards

Support communication between shippers and carriers to coordinate pickups and deliveries

Help negotiate freight rates under supervision to ensure profitable and competitive pricing

Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams

Maintain accurate records of loads, carrier details, and shipment documentation

Learn and follow company processes, compliance requirements, and industry regulations

Resolve basic shipment issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members

Build and maintain professional relationships with carriers and customers

Gain knowledge of market trends and logistics operations

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Basic computer skills (MS Excel, email, and internet usage)
