Friendly Host Wanted for Dining and Jazz Restaurant

Fine dining establishment in Old Town Alexandria is seeking full or part time host to work in a fast paced, family owned, live music concept. Open availability is a plus; please be available to work nights and weekends. Preference given to candidates available on Sundays, either morning or night.

Experience is not required but is preferred. Please have at least six months employment in a customer facing industry to be considered for the position; we will train you on our procedures and steps of service. Pay range depends on work experience. This is a great opportunity to start in the restaurant industry, and has room for growth and advancement.

· Arrive on time, ready to work for each shift, neat, clean and stylishly dressed

· Create a welcoming, professional and enjoyable environment

· Handle a fast paced, challenging industry with grace and good humor

· Get to know our regulars and make them feel acknowledged/remembered

· Comfortable managing our reservation book (or comfortable learning how!) and taking reservations over the phone.

· Learning to input to go and delivery orders quickly and accurately
