At Mai Kai Kava Lounge, we’re not your average bar. We’re a community centered, alcohol free haven where people come together to relax, unwind, and enjoy the natural benefits of kava.

Mai Kai currently has three locations with more on the way, and we’re looking for 1-2 energetic kavatenders to join our team and help us spread good vibes in Athens!

Kava experience is not needed, we’ll provide all the kava training you need to become a pro.

What We’re Looking For:

• A self starter with a positive attitude who loves people and conversation.
• Someone reliable and committed to their shifts, especially on weekends.
• Weekends are mandatory! Please do not even apply if you're not available weekends (Fri-Sun)!
• A team player who can socially engage with customers, upsell drinks, and keep the bar clean and stocked.
• No kava experience is needed --- just bring your friendly demeanor and strong work ethic!
• Must be 18+ and not enrolled in high school.

Responsibilities:

• Serve and engage: Make drinks, serve customers, and keep the good vibes flowing.
• Event support: Help out on event nights and make everyone feel welcome.
• Stay active: Stand for 5-hour shifts, stock light inventory, and handle light cleaning.
