Medical Assistant – Pediatric Office (Anaheim, CA)
Mayflower Medical GroupMayflower Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our pediatric team in Anaheim. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting providers in delivering high-quality care to children and their families. Korean-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.Position SummaryUnder the supervision of the Medical Office Manager, the Medical Assistant supports physicians and providers with both administrative and clinical duties in a fast-paced pediatric setting.Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient phone messages and tasks; document accurately in EMR
• Perform patient callbacks per provider instructions in a timely and professional manner
• Room patients efficiently while maintaining clinic flow and schedule
• Record patient history, care provided, treatments, and charges clearly in EMR
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits and procedures
• Administer medications and assist with procedures within scope of practice
• Ensure completion and accuracy of referrals and related paperwork
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam and patient care rooms
• Follow all safety protocols, including infection control and PPE usage
• Maintain current knowledge of medications, sterile techniques, and waste disposal
• Keep CPR and required certifications up to date
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Korean language skills a plus
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare insurance
• Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a busy environment
• Strong communication skills with staff, providers, and management
• Ability to anticipate needs and problem-solve effectively
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and adaptability

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift
• Setting: Outpatient pediatric office (Anaheim, CA)
