Front Counter and Social Media Contributor

As part of this position, we are looking for someone with enthusiasm for social media to take creative, quality photos and videos of our products and behind the scenes’ life in the bakery.

Front Position:

• Create a welcoming environment and customer experience for Sweet Ali’s customers
• Assist customers, process transactions, take phone and in person orders
• Listen and engage with customers while aligning their interests and needs to our products and new items; optimizing sales.
• Wrap and label products, stock product shelves, count inventory
• Work collaboratively with other areas of the bakery to maintain quality of products and create efficiencies
• Be creative with product placement, point of sale items, sampling, ideas for products and window displays
• Follow and enforce established Sweet Ali's procedures, while maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe environment

Requirements:

• Customer service experience
• Some knowledge about gluten free living
• Ability to multi-task, do basic arithmetic, complete paperwork, follow written and verbal instructions
• Be able to communicate clearly with managers, co-workers and customers
• Courteous, punctual and dependable
• College degree or some college (preferred)

Social Media Contributor:

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of food photography and styling
• Self-starter for producing creative content
• Ability to create interest for our brand and social media engagement
• Maintain awareness of latest social media developments
• Collaborate with Social Media Coordinator and Front Manager on themes and content

Hours and Benefits:

• Part-time: 20-28 hours per week, 6 hours of these hours will be dedicated to social media. Must be available to work at least 1 Saturday per month.
