Front Counter Staff

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Counter Staff to join our team. As a Counter Staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash/credit transactions, and assisting with various duties in our food service establishment.

Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and process payments using a POS system (Square/Online Ordering/Delivery Service)
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining area
- Upsell additional menu items or promotions to customers
- Answer customer inquiries and provide accurate information about menu items
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations

- Some expo/food running responsibilities during off peak hours, willing to teach.

Full Time Position 37-40 hours, no late night hours, closed Mondays and major holidays.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and operating a POS system (Square preferred)
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary skills is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
