Front Desk Administrator

Full-Time Front Desk Administrator position at the main corporate office in South Lansing. Office coverage is needed from Monday-Friday 8am -5pm. Expectation of 36-40 hours per week. Overtime & additional shifts on evening and weekend (Saturday) hours may be needed during tax season (January to April).

This is a busy customer-service oriented position responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments and performing all administrative functions in tax & accounting firm environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task. Excellent communication skills and previous computer experience required. Prior experience in office management requested. This is an in-person position dealing with the general public and is not available to be performed remotely.

Responsibilities and Duties

Use of multi-line telephones

Communicate with clientele by phone, email or in person

Schedule client appointments & perform calendar maintenance for tax preparers

Document processing (printing, filing, mailing, client pick up/drop off) & records management

Data entry and spreadsheet maintenance

Responsible for handling payments & weekly deposit reconciliation

Supply management

Daily housekeeping duties as needed in public areas

Other duties & projects as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

Experience with Microsoft Office required (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Previous office management experience required

High attention to detail

Trustworthy, responsible

Highly dependable & timely

Customer service oriented

Ability to multi-task

Work with minimal supervision

Comfortable working in a public environment

Salary commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
