We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and dependable Front Desk Administrator to be the first point of contact for our families and visitors. This role is essential in creating an exceptional customer experience and ensuring the day-to-day administrative operations of the studio run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Customer Service & Reception
- Greet families, students, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phone calls, emails, and text inquiries promptly
- Assist prospective families with class placement and enrollment
- Provide accurate information regarding classes, tuition, policies, and events
Administrative Support
- Manage student registrations and account updates using studio software
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Monitor attendance and assist with class rosters
- Prepare and organize studio paperwork and digital files
Communication
- Send studio announcements, reminders, and follow-up messages
- Support recital, competition, and event communications
- Maintain consistency in messaging and branding
Studio Operations
- Keep the front desk and lobby organized and welcoming
- Manage lost and found and studio inventory
- Assist with costume distribution, recital preparations, and merchandise sales
- Support special events and occasional weekend activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in front desk or office administration roles with strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and maintain professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and empathy to work with students and families of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
- Comfortable learning studio management software such as DanceStudio-Pro
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and positive attitude
- Experience in administration, reception, or customer service required.
- Dance studio experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule
Typical hours include:
- Monday–Friday: Afternoon and evening shifts, Saturday mornings
- Support during Holiday recital and Spring Recital
Estimated 20-25 hours per week, depending on season.
Compensation
- $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
