Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, personable, and highly organized Front Desk Administrator to be the face of our gym. This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys customer interaction, and has a strong administrative background. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting our trainers, and creating an outstanding experience for every client who walks through our doors. This role requires availability from Monday - Thursday 12PM-8PM, along with Friday, Saturday as needed for a total of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in clients with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage phone calls, email inquiries, and social media messages promptly and professionally
  • Handle front desk administration including booking and scheduling appointments
  • Maintain accurate records and client data using MindBody Business, Google Workspace and spreadsheets
  • Assist in sales of training packages, memberships, and merchandise
  • Keep the reception area and gym organized, clean, and welcoming
  • Support marketing initiatives and social media content creation (optional but valued)
  • Provide administrative support to trainers and management as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous front desk, reception, or administrative experience (fitness or hospitality a plus)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, Drive)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Confident and comfortable in a client-facing role
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a calm, efficient manner
  • Sales experience or confidence in speaking about services and pricing
  • Marketing and social media skills are an advantage but not essential
  • Experience with MINDBODY Business a plus.
