Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Assist with reservations and room assignments, inform guests about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Manage online and phone reservations for hotel and restaurant and process payments and maintain accurate records
- Liaise with our housekeeping team to ensure rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests' needs
- Assist with the night audit process as needed

Qualifications:
- Must have hotel experience; luxury hotel experience preferred
- Must have experience with hotel reservations software such as Opera
- Working knowledge of travel planning websites such as Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and Expedia
- A warm an welcome attitude with all team members and guests, ensuring the highest standard of customer service
- Autonomous and reliable
- Degree in relevant field is a plus

Skills:
- Strong guest service and guest relations skills
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality industry
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and phone systems
- Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is a plus
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service orientation
