Marin Hilltop Hotel is undergoing an exciting transformation into a Tribute Portfolio Marriott Hotel — part of Marriott’s collection of upper-upscale, design-forward boutique hotels. With renovations already underway and a grand relaunch scheduled for July 2026, the hotel is being reimagined to reflect the vibrant and sophisticated spirit of Marin County.

As we move through this exciting chapter, we are looking for a passionate and service-driven Front Desk Agent to support the Front Office operations during the transition and beyond. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership support role, has a strong understanding of front desk procedures, and is eager to contribute to a renewed guest experience.

The Front Desk Agent is the face of our hotel and plays a key role in ensuring our guests feel welcome, cared for, and appreciated. You’ll manage check-ins and check-outs, respond to guest needs, and help create an atmosphere that reflects the elevated and welcoming spirit of our new brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process
• Handle room assignments, payment processing, and key issuance
• Communicate guest requests and room availability with Housekeeping and other departments
• Provide local information, directions, and transportation assistance
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Maintain accurate records and perform daily front desk tasks including running reports and balancing your cash drawer
• Promote marketplace offerings and process sales, including alcoholic beverages
• Assist with other front office duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Prior front desk or customer service experience in a hotel environment is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Team player who’s ready to grow with the hotel
