Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and proactive solutions
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and guest information
- Operate multi-line phone systems to assist callers with reservations, inquiries, or directions
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Support night audit procedures by reconciling accounts and preparing daily reports as needed
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and well-maintained
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest relations to foster a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including proficient phone etiquette
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is advantageous
- Experience with night audit procedures or hotel experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage guest relations with professionalism and tact
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
