Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, trustworthy, integrity-driven, initiative-taking, and hard working Front Desk Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our property. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be computer literate, and have a background in hospitality. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a moderate to fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet each guests that are checking in, answering their inquiries and addressing their needs in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage guest folios, including updating their stay information.
- Perform administrative tasks such as handling multiple guest folios, cash/til/kiosk handling, updating information daily into multiple excel sheets.
- Provide support for the housekeepers, such as maintaining laundry and stripping rooms after each guest checks out of their room.
- Maintain the office in an organized and clean condition, ensuring that all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication in a timely and professional manner. Also reporting to the manager for all questions, vendor/contract inquiries, and if there are any issues and concerns during the shift regarding a guest, a room, equipment, cash handling, and all other questions.
- Transcribe and document guest information accurately should any concerns arise.
- Perform other administrative and support duties as required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred.
- Proven experience in an office management or administrative capacity is essential.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary for this role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively is essential.
