Position Summary
The Inn at Green Pastures is seeking poised, service-driven hospitality professionals to join our front desk team. Set on a tranquil seven-acre property shaded by over 200 Live Oak trees — and home to our beloved resident peacocks — this is a rare opportunity to deliver elevated, personalized guest experiences in one of Austin's most distinctive boutique settings. Previous hotel experience and proficiency with the OPERA property management system are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, informed, and elevated service to each guest, creating a warm and welcoming arrival and departure experience
- Maintain a poised, professional demeanor with a kind and approachable attitude at all times
- Own guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with calm, focused efficiency and a genuine desire to resolve them
- Collaborate seamlessly with housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments to ensure a cohesive guest experience
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of indoor and exterior property areas in keeping with the inn's boutique standards
- Manage reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest communications accurately using OPERA Cloud PMS
- Anticipate guest needs and go beyond the expected to create memorable moments throughout each stay
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of front desk or hotel experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with OPERA Cloud PMS required
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail
- Polished written and verbal communication skills with a warm interpersonal style
- Ability to multitask with grace in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

This is a full-time or part-time, on-site position embedded in the daily life of a one-of-a-kind boutique inn.
