Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through phone systems and online platforms.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Skills
- Proven experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably within the hotel industry.
- Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Exceptional guest relations skills with an ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
- Familiarity with hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest requests.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
