We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hampton Inn Conference Center. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our hotel guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Be able to comprehend and follow the a daily shift checklist.
- Handle phone calls in a high paced environment.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to accurately compute and manipulate mathematical calculations.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Provide customer service support, addressing guest needs and concerns promptly.
- Proficient computer skills, capable to use a hotel computer system.
- Work schedule will be 3PM-11PM on Friday and Saturday. Holidays and weekends are mandatory.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Proficiency in computer literacy.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
