Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. Knowledge of Fosse, a plus as this is a new Marriott. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
• Manage front desk operations including check-ins and check-outs.
• Answer phone calls promptly, utilizing phone systems to assist guests with inquiries.
• Handle reservations and cancellations with accuracy.
• Perform data entry tasks to maintain updated guest information in our systems.
• Assist with administrative duties such as proofreading documents and managing correspondence.
• Provide information about local attractions, services, and hotel amenities.
• Address guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer support or front desk operations is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Strong computer literacy with proficiency in data entry and administrative software.
• Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Familiarity with phone systems and handling multi-line calls effectively.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding service.
• Previous experience as a personal assistant is advantageous but not required.
