Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly and professional interactions
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and professionalism to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate reservation records, room assignments, and billing information while coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Conduct night audit procedures to verify daily financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports for management
  • Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
  • Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person, ensuring clear and courteous communication
  • Assist with guest relations efforts by addressing special requests and ensuring all guests feel valued during their stay

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor and excellent communication abilities
  • Familiarity with front desk procedures, multi-line phone systems, and hotel management software is advantageous
  • Ability to handle night audit responsibilities accurately while maintaining attention to detail during late shifts
  • Knowledge of resort operations or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to manage guest relations professionally while maintaining a positive attitude in fast-paced environments
