Community Center Front Desk Attendant

Hours of Operation: Mon.– Fri. 5am-10pm; Sat. & Sun. 7am-10pm

We are currently seeking to fill the following position:

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday mornings 5:00am -1:30pm

*There is the ability to work additional hours if/when other staff request days off or should staffing change at any point in time.

Job Description: As the Front Desk Attendant, you are the first impression of Cambridge Lakes Community Association, and are responsible for making every guest feel welcome when they walk in the door! We count on our Attendants to create a warm and welcoming first impression along with a happy and positive environment that makes our homeowners want to return. The Front Desk Attendant is under the direct supervision of the Executive Director.

Overall Duties and Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Multitasking in a fast paced environment.

· Greeting residents.

· Checking identification.

· Checking in guests following established guest procedures.

· Welcoming new residents and setting them up in the system which includes verification of residency, creating proxy cards for entry, ID cards for community identification purposes and ensuring that the residents sign all documents and provide all information necessary for the Association files.

· Answering incoming phone calls promptly, in a professional and positive manner, providing information on commonly asked questions and taking detailed messages when necessary.

· Follow-up phone calls to owners as necessary, upon receipt of the answers sought, as requested by the Community Manager, etc.

· Providing assistance and information to homeowners, guests and management.

· Assisting with Kids Club supervision whenever/as necessary

· Maintaining a professional and positive customer service experience.

· Keeping the building and its participants safe.

· Become familiar with the layout of the community and the rules that govern the Association

· Enforcing the rules and policies of the Association.

· Inspecting the gymnasium/fitness center/classrooms/locker rooms/hallways.

· Filing duties which include creating files, filing documents and file maintenance.

· Performing the opening and closing procedures of the front desk/community center.

· Light cleaning, including but not limited to mopping should a spill or something requiring cleanup occur after the janitorial staff has left for the day, lifting garbage into the dumpster, sweeping, wiping counters, picking up trash both inside and outside of the building (to help maintain a clean appearance at all times), etc.

· Performing special projects at the direction of the Executive Director, Assistant Manager and/or Lead Front Desk Attendant/Resident Service Representative.

Administrative Operations:

· Forms must be completely and accurately filled out. Forms must be double-checked for accuracy and have the required signatures/initials.

· All employees will be kept informed of program developments.

· If a resident, guest or staff member becomes injured, an incident report form must be completed by the staff member who first responded and this form will be forwarded to the Executive Director.

Staff Operations:

· At all times staff is to provide courteous, prompt, and professional service to all residents. If the staff is unable to assist a resident, seek help from other employees or leave a detailed message for the management team.

· Staff should be friendly, enthusiastic and sensitive to resident’s needs.

· Resident information must be kept strictly confidential.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must have a High school diploma.

Must be enthusiastic, energetic, organized and personable.

Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and residents.

Must demonstrate a positive attitude and be a team player

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
