About the Role At The Outrider, the Front Desk isn’t a desk job—it’s an energy job. You are the first person our guests see when they come off the trail and the last person they talk to before they head home. We need someone who can handle a check-in with one hand and explain the benefits of our cold plunge with the other. You aren't just clicking buttons; you are crafting a stay.

The Details You’ll Own

• The Welcome: Create a seamless check-in that feels like a greeting between friends, not a transaction.
• The Adventure Guide: Provide discerning, "locals-only" advice on Manitou Springs—from the best post-hike burritos to the quietest times for the sauna.
• The Hub: Manage the flow of the lobby and outdoor spaces. If the hot tub patio looks messy or the coffee bar is low, you fix it before a guest notices.
• The Memory Maker: Anticipate needs, personalize interactions, and create "surprise and delight" moments that turn a good stay into a great story.
• The Upsell: Be the pro who explains why a room upgrade or a late checkout will make their trip.

What We’re Looking For

• Genuine Engagement: A vibrant, friendly attitude focused on deep, quality interactions. You maintain a high level of positive energy and actively seek opportunities for genuine conversation.
• Manitou Connection: You know the area and can talk about it like a local.
• Tech Literacy: You can navigate property management systems without breaking a sweat.

Radical Accountability: You don’t wait for a manager to solve a guest's problem. You own it.
