Beach Street Inn is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process while providing outstanding customer service. During overnight shifts, you will also perform night audit responsibilities, reconciling daily financial transactions to ensure accuracy and security. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable stays for our guests and support the seamless operation of our hotel.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing information and routing calls appropriately
- Conduct night audit procedures by reviewing daily financial transactions, balancing accounts, and preparing reports
- Maintain accurate guest records, reservations, and billing information using hotel management software
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
- Promote hotel amenities and local attractions to enhance guest experience and satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel front desk operations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and night audit procedures highly desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to operate multi-line phone systems confidently
- Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Familiarity with guest relations, hospitality standards, and resort operations is advantageous
