Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor (Part-Time)

The Inn at Avila Beach is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Part-Time Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests during evening and overnight hours, ensuring seamless check-ins, check-outs, and guest services. Your enthusiasm and hospitality expertise will help create memorable stays while maintaining efficient hotel operations through night auditing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes using hotel management software
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and generate reports
• Manage phone system with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers promptly
• Maintain guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions
• Ensure the security of the property by monitoring CCTV cameras and conducting routine safety checks during overnight hours
• Support front desk operations by managing reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse guest needs
• Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management systems preferred
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and multi-line phone system handling
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Hospitality or hotel experience is highly desirable; familiarity with guest services and resort environments is a plus

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
