Our growing optometry practice is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Front Desk & Insurance Assistant to join our team. This person will answer phones, schedule appointments, assist with billing and insurance, and help with contact lens and optical orders. If you enjoy helping people and want a job with variety, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide excellent customer service
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the office schedule
  • Check patients in/out and collect copays
  • Assist with billing questions and posting charges
  • Assist with optical and contact lens orders
  • Support general front desk operations to maintain smooth office flow

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with insurance, medical/vision billing, or optical is a plus, but not required

Schedule & Pay

  • Full-time
  • Monday–Friday (plus occasional Saturdays depending on office needs)
  • Pay: $16-17 Based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
