Zest Property Management is seeking a professional, reliable Front Desk Associate / Property Management Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This is a hybrid role that combines front desk responsibilities with administrative support for our property management team. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a dynamic office setting where priorities can shift quickly. They are client facing and will interact with a variety of residents, property investors, vendors daily.
This position is in-office, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no remote option).
Front Desk Responsibilities
- Greet clients, tenants, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer and route incoming calls with strong customer service and attention to detail
- Manage office flow and ensure a clean, organized front desk environment
- Assist in the coordination of office events (like taco day, etc)
Property Management Support
- Assist with tenant communications, including:
- Delinquency follow-ups
- Lease renewal outreach
- Support property managers with administrative tasks and documentation
- Help coordinate internal communication across departments (maintenance, accounting, leasing, etc.)
- Enter and manage data within AppFolio and other systems
Technology & Systems
- Work within AppFolio (property management software)
- Utilize AI tools, including Front Desk AI, as part of daily workflow
- Accurately document interactions, notes, and updates in internal systems
- Use Microsoft products like Sheets, Docs, etc.
Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
- 2+ years of administrative, front desk, or customer service experience
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Must be comfortable using technology and willing to learn AI-based tools
- Professional appearance and demeanor (client-facing role)
- Ability to multitask and support multiple departments as needed
- Dependable with strong follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in property management or real estate
- Familiarity with AppFolio or similar property management software
- Experience handling sensitive conversations (collections, lease renewals, etc.)

Position Details
- Full-time, in-office (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

- Compensation is based on experience, with higher pay available for candidates with property management or AppFolio experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
