Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services, managing hotel operations during overnight hours, and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have strong hospitality management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for guest relations.
Duties
- Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Conduct nightly audit procedures, including balancing accounts and preparing financial reports
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and provide information
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure data security
- Monitor hotel security during overnight shifts to ensure guest safety and property integrity
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs promptly
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest service excellence throughout all interactions
- Assist in resolving guest issues to enhance overall guest satisfaction and loyalty
Experience
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management software is advantageous
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus for serving diverse guests effectively
- Demonstrated ability to manage guest concerns with professionalism and tact
- Prior experience in hospitality or front desk roles will be beneficial for success in this position
