Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Front Desk Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our patients and their families. The ideal candidate MUST be Spanish-speaking (preferably with training in Medical Spanish Interpretation), thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, excels at multitasking, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients and families in a warm, professional manner
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage appointment reminders
• Verify patient insurance and collect copays or outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic health record (EHR) system
• Assist with patient intake forms, consents, and other administrative documentation
• Support billing staff by collecting and processing payments and submitting accurate documentation
• Coordinate communication between families, clinical staff, and providers
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment
• Occasionally assist with Spanish/English interpretation for patient care
• Adhere to HIPAA and privacy regulations at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
• Medical Spanish/English Interpretation ability
• Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role strongly preferred
• Proficient in computer systems, with experience in EHR or scheduling software a plus. Pay will reflect candidate's relevant experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask efficiently and remain calm under pressure
• Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude
