Front Desk Coordinator

Overview: We're seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized and personable Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Responsibilities:

● Welcome patients and visitors to the medical facility in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and direction as needed, and ensuring a positive First-Class impression.

● Schedule patient appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits using electronic scheduling systems, coordinating with healthcare providers and patients to optimize appointment availability and minimize wait times.

● Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and appointment schedules, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

● Answer incoming phone calls, screen and route calls to the appropriate department or staff member, take messages, and provide information to callers regarding appointment scheduling, clinic hours, and other inquiries.

● Check in patients for appointments, distribute and collect medical forms, consent forms, and patient information packets, ensuring completion and accuracy, and assisting patients with filling out forms as needed.

● Collect payments for services rendered, and update patient information in scheduling software systems accurately and efficiently with detailed notations.

● Perform various administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork, scanning documents, support office operations and ensure smooth workflow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Front desk: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Medical administrative support: 1 year (Preferred)
