Front Desk Coordinator/Administrative Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional administrative support and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for our patients. As the first point of contact for our office, the Front Desk Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Duties:

- Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.
- Manage the front desk, including answering and directing phone calls, responding to walk-in visitors, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
- Utilize computerized systems to process patient records, schedule appointments, and perform data entry tasks.
- Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage patient billing and accounts receivable.
- Operate dental receptionist software, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Spanish to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking patients.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in computerized systems, including phone systems and data entry software.
- Familiarity with dental software.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Experience in the dental or healthcare industry is an asset.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to office policies and procedures.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
