Front Desk Guest Service Agent

Job Summary
Small Inn needs a part time person to work nights and weekends. Must have front desk experience, computer knowledge helpful, dependable transportation and pass a background check and drug test.

This position is part-time and you must have full weekend & evening availability. The days per week and amount of hours can vary due to occupancy needs.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations using hotel management software.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
  • Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
  • Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and assist guests with reservations or inquiries.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.

Experience

  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage.(Innroad PMS)
  • Strong phone etiquette skills are essential for effective communication with guests.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this can enhance guest interactions.
  • Experience in guest services within a resort setting is a plus.
  • Knowledge of night audit procedures is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Retirees or College students are encouraged to apply.
