Job Summary
Small Inn needs a part time person to work nights and weekends. Must have front desk experience, computer knowledge helpful, dependable transportation and pass a background check and drug test.
This position is part-time and you must have full weekend & evening availability. The days per week and amount of hours can vary due to occupancy needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations using hotel management software.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and assist guests with reservations or inquiries.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality management is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management software is an advantage.(Innroad PMS)
- Strong phone etiquette skills are essential for effective communication with guests.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this can enhance guest interactions.
- Experience in guest services within a resort setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is beneficial but not mandatory.
