Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and answering inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently using hotel management software, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction
- Conduct night audit procedures, balancing daily financial transactions and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy
- Handle multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and assisting guests or staff as needed
- Maintain security by monitoring the premises through CCTV surveillance and conducting regular safety checks during overnight hours
- Assist guests with special requests, room changes, or concerns to enhance their stay and foster positive guest relations
- Record all shift activities meticulously, including incident reports, guest feedback, and operational logs to ensure seamless communication between shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is highly preferred, especially in a resort or hospitality setting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems to handle guest interactions professionally
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth overnight transitions
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations, hospitality standards, and phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail
