Job Description – Front Desk Officer (FDO) / Guest Service Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a well-groomed, professional, and service-oriented Front Desk Officer / Guest Service Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be experienced in using a Property Management System (PMS) and capable of handling guest interactions smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

· Welcome and greet guests upon arrival with a warm and professional attitude.

· Perform smooth check-in and check-out procedures using the PMS.

· Handle reservations, room assignments, and modifications efficiently.

· Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and courteously.

· Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

· Maintain accurate guest records, billing information, and reports through the PMS.

· Manage cash and credit transactions following company policies.

· Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.

· Handle guest complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.

· Ensure the lobby and front desk area maintain a clean and welcoming appearance.

Requirements

· Prior experience as a Front Desk Officer / Guest Service Officer in hospitality.

· Proficiency in PMS software (e.g., Opera, Cloud PMS, or equivalent).

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent grooming and professional presentation.

· Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

· Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Basic knowledge of billing, cash handling, and reporting.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
