Front Desk Patient Experience Specialist

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated part time Front Desk Patient Experience Specialist to join our team here at Iris Wellness Center. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess outstanding communication skills. You should have experience in some of the following areas, healthcare, wellness, acupuncture, spa, and clinic setting.

Iris Wellness Center is a well-established and leading acupuncture and functional medicine clinic in Houston, TX focused on a whole person approach to holistic and alternative care.

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, answer patient questions, schedule patient appointments, handle patient check-in and check-out and so much more
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage appointments and schedules
- Handle clerical tasks including filing, scanning, and transcribing documents

Your Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or wellness clinic setting as a front desk is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively is a must
- Knowledge of medical office procedures, health insurance is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is a must
