Front Desk & Patient Services Specialist

We provide comprehensive eye health services, advanced diagnostic testing, and expert optical guidance — all with a patient-first approach.

Our front desk team plays a critical role in ensuring patients feel welcomed, informed, and well cared for throughout their visit.

Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Patient Coordination

  • Greet patients and create a warm, professional first impression
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments
  • Check patients in and verify information
  • Manage patient flow to support an efficient schedule

Check-Out & Billing Support

  • Review services with patients at check-out
  • Process payments and explain balances
  • Assist with basic insurance verification and billing tasks
  • Ensure accurate documentation and patient records

Optical Sales Support

  • Assist patients with frame selection and basic eyewear guidance
  • Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and upgrades
  • Support the optical team with order entry and coordination
  • Provide a helpful, low-pressure sales experience focused on patient needs

Qualifications:

  • Previous medical office, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable discussing pricing and guiding patients through purchases
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Basic computer skills for scheduling and billing systems

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

  • Optometry or optical office experience
  • Insurance verification or medical billing experience
  • Retail or sales experience (especially in a service-based environment)

  • Full-time
  • Monday – Friday
