Front Desk Receptionist

Job Title: Front Desk/ receptionist Company: AC Esthetics & Wellness Location: Point Richmond, CA

AC Esthetics & Wellness is a fast-growing, corrective skincare clinic looking for a confident, organized, and sales-driven Front Desk to be the face of our brand. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a vital role in delivering a luxury 5-star experience while supporting clinic operations, driving sales, and protecting the daily schedule.

This role is ideal for someone who shows up on time, every time, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and wants to grow within a results-driven business.

Performance Scorecard (How Success Is Measured):

  • 85%+ of clients rebooked at checkout before leaving the clinic (Front desk achieves a consistent rebooking rate of 80-85% or higher at check out)
  • All calls, texts, and emails are responded to within one hour during business hours
  • Every missed call is returned the same business day
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality, on time and prepared for every scheduled shift
  • Actively drive retail sales, packages, memberships, and promotions at checkout and over the phone.
  • Front desk and lobby are maintained clean, organized and on brand at all times
  • Clearly, timely, and professional communication with the team to support daily operations and clinic flow

  • Feel uncomfortable having sales conversations
  • Are uncomfortable with clear expectations performance tracking, and direct feedback
  • Need to be reminded to follow process or standard

Responsibilities:

Warmly Greet Clients:Welcome every client with professionalism, warmth, and confidence. Create a polished first impression and ensure a seamless, elevated experience from arrival to departure.

Appointment Scheduling:Manage appointment bookings efficiently, confirm and rebook clients, protect the schedule, minimize gaps, and accommodate client requests while supporting clinic flow.

Customer Service:Deliver exceptional client care by answering questions clearly, resolving concerns professionally, and ensuring every client feels supported and valued.

Payment Processing:Handle all cash and electronic payments accurately, manage check-in and check-out, process add-ons and upgrades, and maintain a balanced cash register.

Salon Maintenance:Maintain a clean, organized, and on-brand reception area at all times, ensuring it reflects the luxury and professionalism of AC Esthetics & Wellness.

Product / Service Knowledge & Upselling:Maintain strong knowledge of all services, skincare products, memberships, and promotions. Confidently recommend retail, upgrades, and packages to support client results and clinic revenue.

Administrative Tasks:Assist with client records, inventory tracking, retail restocks, reports, and ordering supplies when necessary.

Multi-Tasking:Manage phones, walk-ins, client communication, and support estheticians and operations in a fast-paced environment with confidence and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-end salon, spa, or wellness clinic
  • Strong reliability, accountability, and consistent attendance (non-negotiable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Sales-minded with experience in high-end retail or service sales
  • Attention to detail and passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Proficiency with booking systems, POS software (Square preferred), and basic computer skills
  • Tech-savvy and open to learning AI and new systems
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as scheduled
  • Passion for skincare, beauty, and wellness
