Front Desk Receptionist

Job responsibilities: - Responsible for all aspects of the front office including, but not limited to: Answer phones, schedule appointments, check patients in and out, collect/post patient payments, submit patient charges, surgical scheduling, and misc. duties as assigned.

• Advanced communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Prior experience with Athena
• Basic level of medical knowledge and/or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and correct grammar.
• Billing experience preferred
• Knowledge and compliance of HIPAA standards.
• Ability and willingness to take direction and be a member of a team providing patient care.
• Excellent job attendance, punctual. (Our providers count on you.)
• Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week (full time position) with predictable hours.
• Compliance with hospital and Comprehensive Urology policies, including HIPAA.
• US work authorization

This is a full-time position Monday-Friday. Possible travel involved between office locations.

Required education: High School Diploma

Required experience: Minimum of 1-year previous experience as a medical receptionist.
