Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our clinic. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, managing records, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly as they arrive at the clinic.
- Answer phone calls promptly and assist with inquiries.
- Respond to patient questions regarding appointments, services, and procedures.
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to manage their calendars.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate patient records, including updating personal and insurance information.
- Verify patient eligibility and handle billing inquiries.
- Process payments and issue receipts.
- Operational Duties:
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed.
- Support the clinic staff with administrative tasks as requested.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to clinic policies and HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional training or certification in office administration or medical reception is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
