Front Desk Receptionist / Student Enrollment Coordinator

Alpha CDL Driving School is hiring a professional, motivated, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist / Student Enrollment Coordinator to join our office team.

This is more than a basic receptionist position. We are looking for someone who can answer calls, greet walk-ins, follow up with prospective students, use a CRM system, schedule appointments, and help students complete the CDL enrollment process.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, confident on the phone, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls, texts, emails, and online inquiries
  • Greet walk-in students, visitors, and prospective applicants
  • Follow up with prospective students by phone, text, and email
  • Enter and update student leads in the CRM system
  • Schedule appointments, school visits, orientations, and enrollment meetings
  • Explain CDL training programs, class schedules, enrollment steps, and payment options
  • Help students complete applications and enrollment paperwork
  • Track students from first contact through completed enrollment
  • Maintain accurate CRM notes, follow-up records, and appointment details
  • Assist current students with basic questions and office support
  • Work with the office team to help increase student enrollments
  • Support management with daily administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Customer service experience required
  • CRM experience required
  • Strong phone communication skills
  • Good computer, email, and data entry skills
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Must be dependable, professional, and punctual
  • Comfortable following up with leads consistently
  • Ability to multitask in a busy office environment
  • Sales, admissions, recruiting, call center, or school office experience is a plus
  • CDL school or transportation industry experience is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required

Compensation

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Additional Pay: Student enrollment bonus opportunities available

This position includes hourly pay plus the opportunity to earn additional bonuses based on student enrollment performance, teamwork, follow-up activity, and accurate CRM usage.

Enrollment bonuses are based on qualified student enrollments that are properly tracked, documented, and verified by management.

Qualified Enrollment Standards

A student enrollment may qualify for bonus consideration when:

  • The student is entered correctly into the CRM
  • Follow-up notes are documented
  • Enrollment paperwork is completed
  • The student pays the required enrollment deposit
  • Management verifies the enrollment

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • 10 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday
  • Saturday 10 am to 2 pm
  • In-person position

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys helping people, communicates clearly, and understands the importance of follow-up. This person should be friendly, professional, organized, and motivated to help students start a new career in trucking.
