Front Desk Receptionist (Chiropractic / Physical Therapy Office)

We are seeking someone with experience in a chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture or medical office setting who already understands:

  • Insurance basics (copays, deductibles, authorizations)
  • Scheduling multiple providers efficiently
  • Handling a high volume of patients while staying organized
  • Communicating professionally with patients, providers, and billing teams

This is a fast-paced role — ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Flow & Front Desk Operations

  • Greet and check in patients efficiently and professionally
  • Collect copays and verify patient information
  • Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day

Scheduling & Calendar Management

  • Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers
  • Manage cancellations and actively fill gaps in the schedule
  • Maintain organized and optimized provider schedules

Insurance & Administrative Tasks

  • Verify patient benefits and explain coverage to patients
  • Communicate with billing team regarding authorizations and questions
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed and accurate

Recall & Patient Retention

  • Perform daily recall calls to re-engage patients who have fallen off schedule
  • Help patients stay consistent with their care plans

Team Communication

  • Coordinate with providers and staff to keep operations running smoothly
  • Maintain accurate notes and updates in the system

Requirements

  • Experience in a chiropractic, physical therapy, or medical office REQUIRED
  • Strong understanding of scheduling and insurance workflows
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
