**Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic dental office. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage patient records, and maintain a welcoming environment for our patients and staff.
**Duties**
- Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage patient flow, ensuring a timely and efficient check-in and check-out process.
- Utilize 10-key typing skills to accurately and efficiently update patient records.
- Assist with coding and document preparation as needed.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including the front desk, waiting room, and adjacent offices.
- Provide support to other office staff as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Be proficient in computer software, including electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in a medical office or related setting is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in dental coding and document preparation is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
