Job Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. They are responsible for greeting guests, handling incoming calls, managing appointments, and performing general administrative tasks to support office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Manage the front desk area, keeping it tidy and presentable.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain meeting calendars.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Handle inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
Working Conditions:
