Front Office Medical Assistant – Phlebotomy & IV Therapy Required

THE ROLE

This is not a passive front desk position. We are looking for a dual-function Medical Assistant who can perform clinical procedures AND run the front office with excellence. You will be a key driver of patient experience, clinic flow, and daily operations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform phlebotomy (blood draws) with precision and patient comfort

- Place IVs and administer IV therapy as part of our treatment protocols

- Deliver a polished, high-touch patient check-in and check-out experience

- Manage incoming calls, texts, and online inquiries with speed and professionalism

- Own scheduling: optimize bookings, minimize gaps, confirm appointments, reduce no-shows

- Collect and process payments accurately; maintain financial accountability

- Prepare treatment rooms and assist providers during procedures

- Maintain a clean, organized, and "ready at all times" clinical environment

- Keep charts, consents, and patient data complete and audit-ready

REQUIREMENTS

- Phlebotomy certification and hands-on experience (REQUIRED)

- IV placement and IV therapy administration experience (REQUIRED)

- 2+ years in a medical office, med spa, or wellness clinic (REQUIRED)

- Strong administrative skills: EHR systems, scheduling platforms, office software

- High attention to detail; ability to stay composed under pressure

- Excellent communication skills — confident, clear, and professional

- Must be punctual, reliable, and self-accountable

- Spanish-speaking strongly preferred

- Must be authorized to work in the United States

SCHEDULE

- Full-Time, Monday – Friday

- Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (clinic opens to patients at 10:00 AM)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Base pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience)
