Front Desk Receptionist / Medical Assistant - Urgent Care

True Compassion Urgent Care is a walk-in clinic in Stuart, FL that actually moves. Our team is small, our cases are real, and every role matters — including yours.

We're looking for a Front Desk / Medical Assistant who can handle both sides of the house. You'll greet patients, manage check-in, and then turn around and take vitals, run labs, or assist with procedures. If you need to be told what to do next every five minutes, this isn't the place. If you read the room and move — you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome and check in patients — professionally and efficiently, every time
• Verify insurance, collect copays, and manage patient flow from arrival to discharge
• Perform patient intake: vitals, chief complaint, medication reconciliation, and history
• Conduct point-of-care testing: EKG, urinalysis, rapid strep/flu/COVID-19, glucose
• Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, and specimen collection with proper documentation
• Room patients and assist providers with procedures and examinations
• Provide discharge instructions, follow-up scheduling, and patient education
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation in real time
• Keep clinical and front desk areas stocked, clean, and OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA compliant

What We're Looking For:

• MA or front desk experience in a clinical setting preferred
• CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification preferred
• CPR/BLS certified (or willing to obtain quickly)
• BXMO certification preferred
• Someone who moves without being asked and sees what needs to be done
• Valid government-issued photo ID

Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
