Front Desk Receptionist
The receptionist will play a vital role in our practice by being the first contact point for new and returning clients and visiting professionals. Th e receptionist will also need to provide additional support to our admissions department and will work closely with the Manager of Admissions and Director of Adminis tration . Our ideal candidate will have strong organization, customer service and communication skills, be reliable and efficient in front desk duties, and contribute to creating a positive environment in the office for our client s and staff .
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and directing clients and professional visitors to the practice .
- Checking in clients for their appointments and notifying therapists of appointment arrivals.
- Ensuring that the office stays clean and welcoming for clients and visitors.
- Answering phone calls and responding to client needs in a timely manner .
- Regularly check for and return missed calls .
- Ensuring that calls and messages are transferred to the correct department.
- Assist admi nistration with new referrals by obtaining demographic and insurance information, submitting verification of benefits, and entering referrals into portal.
- Scheduling and updating appointments as needed.
- Checking and sending faxes as needed.
- Respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensuring the lobby maintain s a safe and HIPPA compliant atmosphere.
All other administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or relevant qualifications. At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Good understanding of office administration practices.
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
Proficient at Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Google docs.
