Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Verify insurance benefits and information
  • Submit and follow up on claims
  • Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, directing inquiries as necessary.
  • Manage scheduling and appointment bookings for clients.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails and mail deliveries.
  • Ensure the reception area is organized and presentable at all times.
  • Assist with proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to support office management tasks as needed.
  • Verify and process insurance claims
  • Take payments and update ledger

Skills

  • English/Spanish highly recommended
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Proficient in clerical tasks, including filing and data management.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with office management practices and procedures.
  • Experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
