Duties

• Welcome clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk with professionalism and efficiency
• Assist pet owners by answering questions about grooming services, pet care, and appointment availability
• Perform dog bathing, brushing, drying, and basic grooming tasks to ensure pets look and feel their best
• Handle animal restraint safely during grooming procedures to ensure pet comfort and staff safety
• Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas, kennels, and reception space to uphold hygiene standards
• Support veterinary staff with animal handling or basic veterinary technician tasks as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and courteously
• Answer phones and return calls in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Prior one year experience in dog handling, pet grooming, or animal care i
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus
• Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and pet sitting responsibilities
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for bathing equipment or supplies
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Experience working with animals such as dogs or horses is advantageous
• Basic understanding of veterinary assistant or kennel operations is beneficial
