Busy Physical Therapy Office looking for a Part Time front desk receptionist. This is a perfect opportunity for retirees.
Must be punctual, professional and able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Duties Include:
- Greet visitors, clients, and vendors with coutesy and professionalism, creating a warm first impression
- Answer and return calls efficiently and courteously using proper phone etiquette
- Handle incoming correspondence, emails, and inquiries promptly and accurately
- Maintain organized electronic medical records systems, data entry records, and ensure all documents are properly proofread and scanned
- Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software
- Assist with clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, and organizing office supplies
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors
Requirements
- EMR experience is a plus
- Proven office experience or administrative background with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools
- Excellent computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in medical or dental reception is advantageous but not required; relevant personal assistant or clerical experience is valued
- Knowledge of bookkeeping practices such as QuickBooks is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly
