Job Summary
The front desk receptionist at a music school serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment. This role supports daily operations by managing communications, coordinating schedules, and assisting both staff and clients to keep the school running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about classes, scheduling, and programs
- Schedule lessons and maintain accurate, up-to-date calendars
- Assist teachers with organizing and adjusting their schedules
- Monitor daily appointments to ensure lessons run on time
- Enroll new students and provide information about programs and policies
- Collect payments and maintain accurate records
- Keep the front desk and common areas clean and organized
- Open and close the facility according to daily procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Excellent computer literacy with the ability to handle data entry and manage multiple software platforms efficiently
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively
- Previous experience in customer service or as a receptionist is a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
