Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using Eaglesoft software.
- Perform insurance verification and handle patient inquiries regarding insurance coverage.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
- Handle phone calls professionally, addressing patient needs or directing calls as necessary.
- Support office tasks to enhance workflow efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and dental office practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
