Front Desk & Sales Associate (High-Energy, Commission-Based Role)
Location: RX30 – Lincoln Center, NYC (also supports CrossFit SPOT)
Pay: $16/hour + commission + performance bonuses
Schedule:
Weekdays: 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Weekends: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
About the Role
This is not a front desk job.
This is a sales and member experience role.
We are in a high foot-traffic area, and at SPOT we have an all-boys school directly across the street. There is constant opportunity — the right person will turn that traffic into real business.
Your job is to:
Create energy in the space
Engage every person who walks in or passes by
Drive sales (memberships + smoothies + programs)
If you’re outgoing, confident, and motivated to make money, you will thrive here.
If you’re passive, reserved, or prefer to “wait for people to come to you,” this is not the role.
What You’ll DoSales & Lead Generation (PRIMARY FOCUS)
- Actively engage walk-by traffic (this is expected daily)
- Start conversations with parents, teens, and local foot traffic
- Confidently introduce RX30 + CrossFit SPOT services
- Promote trial classes and convert interest into bookings
- Follow up and help turn prospects into paying members
- Create urgency around current promotions and offers
Goal: Bring people in and convert them into members
Front Desk & Member Experience
- Greet every member with energy and by name
- Create a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere at all times
- Build real relationships with members (not surface-level)
- Check members in and manage scheduling
- Answer questions about memberships, programs, and services
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and professional
Goal: Make every member feel valued and excited to be here
Smoothie Bar (Revenue Driver)
- Actively sell smoothies — not just take orders
- Recommend add-ons and upsells to increase ticket size
- Encourage members to stay, hang out, and purchase
- Maintain cleanliness, prep, and efficiency at all times
Goal: Drive daily smoothie sales and increase revenue per member

Requirements
- Must be 17+
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable approaching and engaging with strangers
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Food handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
